Hi there, This is Takehisa from Japan.@I hope you're all doing fine. Please check out some new tunes I've uploaded on MP3.com. Seven are already recorded, out of which four are complete. You can listen to all four at this URL: http://mp3.com/take ---------- 1) Samba Orange Road 2001 --- General Jazz http://artists.mp3s.com/ artist_song/1295/1295739.html A brisk tune with a Latin feeling, this is a fast-tempo rearrangement of a previously released work. Mid-tune, in a non-accompanied part, I throw myself into an exciting sax solo. Also check out the bass solo in the latter half. 2) J Acid --- Acid Jazz http://artists.mp3s.com/ artist_song/1295/1295730.html Our band's first attempt at acid. The "J" in "J Acid" stands neither for Japan nor Jazz, but for Jimi as in Jimi Hendrix, because the tune is based on chords that he frequently used. The arrangement incorporates a horn section to achieve a deep sounding effect. 3) My Samba Carnival (dear AYAKA) --- Latin Jazz http://artists.mp3s.com/ artist_song/1295/1295722.html The second Latin tune in this batch, this is a gay, lively performance, with an unusual interplay between the piano and a long drums solo frequently using the timbale. AYAKA is the name of the drummer's lovely daughter. 4) Session #2 --- Electric Blues http://artists.mp3s.com/ artist_song/1295/1295709.html Second in our session-format series. This time, we tried grooving to a rather slow tempo, with a "bluesy" guitarist taking the spotlight. ---------- That's it for now. See you!
