2) Take Takes Part in 1-Dollar, 100-Tune CD
-------------------------------------------------
Take participated in an unprecedented compilation album. It really contains 100 tunes, and is priced at 1 dollar (80 cents=100 yen to be exact). The CD is available from October 20 at all 54 Tower Record stores in Japan. Take is honored to have a shortened, 40-second version of his piece "Your Smile" included in the album.

The album is titled "Hyakunin-isshu" (literally translated as "The Hundred Poems by One Hundred Poets". This is a play on the title of a collection of classical Japanese poems which is very famous in Japan.) The artists are collectively named "Tensai Baka Band" (literally translated as "The Genius/Idiot Band". This is also a play on a famous Japanese cartoon character named "Tensai Baka-Bon", or "The Genius/Idiot Guy".) Ten-Baka, as the band is casually referred to, is a group of artists of all genres with over 300 members as of October 2002. Take, of course, is a member too. For more info on Ten-baka, go here.
